These classes are free, we only ask that you sign up so we can be sure to accommodate everyone. We will meet in the All Season Gardener storefront at 4007 Evergreen Pkwy in Evergreen. We’d be happy to have you join us.

Saturdays, 11am: Ask the Expert with Scott Barton
Saturdays, noon: Hydroponic Troubleshooting with Scott Barton
Scott started and nurtured the 6 hydroponic systems we have growing in our store. He has a wealth of hydro knowledge to share with newbies as well as experienced hydro-farmers.

April 10, 2pm: Hen Raising in the Mountains
You may know long-time resident Karla Briggs but do you know her chickens? Hidden among the tall pines and understory brush are Karla’s happy-go-lucky egg producing mamas. Karla will cover the fun, the how-to and the local regulations. Even if you’re not seriously interested, sign up and come have some fun.

Tuesdays, beginning April 13, 6:30pm: Seed Starts and Root Crop
At one time, the Evergreen Mountain Community was known for its potato crop. It’s true! And we would love to get you started. It’s fascinating, rewarding, and the best “back-to-nature” experience for all ages. We will have hand-outs, share tips and cheer you on during this one hour class. Come to this how-to workshop every Tuesday if you’d like.

April 17, 2pm: Square Foot Gardening at 8,000+ feet
Dawn Kilgore, mountain gardener and champion of the family’s vegetable garden that provided produce for her family and friends, grows from seed, manages the climate shifts, lover her fresh greens and vegetables and well as potatoes into the winter. Come catch her enthusiasm!
